The Academy Awards should look to the year of 2012 as, once again, a wake up call for revision of how they go about things. Bringing back an Oscar category or two and adding more than a few should be seriously considered. The yearly lack of respect for comedy also calls into question whether Best Picture would really be diluted if split between those two genres. Here are some suggestions that will almost certainly be entirely ignored, but what the hey!
