The push is to get Andy Serkis a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for "Rise of the Planet of the Apes." Of course, if truth be told, Serkis should actually be nominated for Best Actor. The motion capture CGI character that Serkis plays, Caesar, is the single most important character in the movie; if Hannibal Lecter was worthy of a Best Actor nomination then so is Caesar. For that matter, if Anthony Hopkins was worthy of a nomination for "Silence of the Lambs" then so is Serkis.
